Christy Hemme Interviews AJ Styles

AJ Styles does a typical Ric Flair promo mentioning all the old great champs. He talks about his diamond ear-ring. He has blond tips in his hair now. It’s quite pathetic. Ric Flair puts over Styles some more and we fade away.

Backstage: AJ Styles’ New Present

Backstage AJ Styles gets a Ric Flair-style robe. He puts it on but it has the same hoody as his old gimmick. AJ’s hair is frosted blond as hell too.

TNA World Title:

-AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe

Eric Bischoff is in as the special guest referee. Jeremy Borash does his boxing-style intros for the World title match. And our match is officially underway. Joe dominates early. AJ does a lot of pussy heel stuff ala Flair. AJ gets some offense in now and is working on the leg of Joe. Wonder what that’ll lead to? AJ tries wrapping up a figure-four leglock but Joe kicks him off and outside to the floor. Joe gets a running start and dives through the ropes onto Styles on the floor. Styles takes the mats off on the floor, exposing the concrete. Bischoff is yelling for them to get back in the ring. Styles is going for a suplex on Joe on the concrete. Joe blocks it. Joe turns him around and goes for a suplex of his own but AJ leaps over and lands on his feet, avoiding the move. AJ runs back into the ring. Joe stalks Flair and Flair backs off. AJ distracts Bischoff now, which allows Flair to wrap Joe’s leg around the ring post. Joe limping bad now. Styles chop-blocks Joe’s leg from behind. Styles continues to work on the leg of Joe. AJ locks in the figure four leglock on Joe. Joe is screaming in pain. Bischoff is down to get a closer look. Joe eventually works his way out of the figure four. Styles runs at Joe but Joe ducks and Styles goes out to the floor. Flair takes his jacket off and his panicking now. Styles is back in the ring and Joe is fighting back now. Joe clotheslines Styles down repeatedly. Styles moonsaults over Joe’s head and catches him with a backwards DDT drop. He tries a pin but Joe kicks out at two. Ric Flair’s reactions on the floor this entire match have been priceless. Christ that dude is the man. Styles is calling for the Styles Clash. Joe reverses it into a standing rear naked choke. Joe slams Styles over his head, while still holding him in the choke. Joe is setting Styles up for the Muscle Buster. Flair grabs Joe’s leg. Bischoff goes to yell at Flair. Joe hits the Muscle Buster. Bischoff rolls back in to make the pin but Flair yanks Bischoff outside the ring. Bischoff punches Flair in the face and Flair is down. Flair is up now and is flipping out like a mad-man. God bless Ric Flair lol. Joe pulls Bischoff back in the ring and is yelling at him. Bischoff is trying to explain. Joe pushes Bischoff. Bischoff pushes him back. Joe grabs Bischoff by the shirt and pushes him into the corner. He turns around and Styles hits the Pele kick. Styles then sets him up for the Styles Clash. He hits it. Bischoff goes down and hits the slowest three count in the world. Styles retains the TNA title.

After The Match: Ric Flair Has One Final Demand

Flair asks for a microphone and demands that Bischoff raise Styles hand. Flair is flipping out demanding that Bischoff do it. Bischoff finally obliges. Flair is definitely the man.
