Raw Ladder: Plenty Moved Up, But Not The Most Important One

DOWN A STEP

WWE Title Match

John Cena, Shawn Michaels, HBK, Triple H, HHH, D-X, DX

I will discuss this further on one of the next pages, but I hate the fact that the go-home show didn’t do anything to hype the WWE title match at Survivor Series.  In fact, I think I’m looking more forward to Cena and Undertaker locking up again in the future than I am to the triple threat match this Sunday (no idea what the point of the Cena/Taker deal was last night).

I get the idea that D-X thinks they have the match in the bag, but we all know there will be some sort of tension at the pay per view.  Maybe it won’t cause them to break up right away, but there’s bound to be some back-and-forth between the two, so why not tease that last night?  Even if it’s just a little bit.  They’ve put more focus on the pointless situation between Hornswoggle and D-X than they have the championship match.

I’m still curious to see how they are going to handle the actual match between the three at Survivor Series and what might come as a result, but last night definitely didn’t add any needed fuel to the fire.
