TNA Turning Point PPV Opener:

Turning Point opens with a video package featuring Hulk Hogan, Dixie Carter, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Daniels and other TNA regulars. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show and introduce our first match of the night, which is an X-Division contest.

X-Division Title:

-Amazing Red (c) vs. Homicide

Homicide is basically dominating the action for the first few minutes of this opening bout. Lots of fast-paced spots and typical X-Division style action to open the show. "He’s Amazing" chant breaks out from the crowd in Orlando. The finish came when Red went for a moonsault off the top, but Homicide caught him on the way down with a Diamond Cutter. Homicide tried following that up with a huracanrana but Red avoids it and hits the Code Red for the pinfall and the victory. Don West joins him in the ring to celebrate the victory.
