Beat The Clock Challenge:

-Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne

The time to beat is still 6:49. Swagger is dominating the match early. He goes for his finisher but slips and Bourne reverses it into a pin attempt and gets the upset victory. But due to the fact that Bourne was not one of the beat the clock competitors, his time does NOT count.

Winner: Evan Bourne

-Cole and Lawler mention that John Cena vs. The Miz will be the final "beat the clock challenge" match tonight.

Next Week’s RAW Guest Host

-Cole confirms Jeremy Piven as the special celebrity guest-host for next week’s WWE RAW.

Backstage: HHH vs. Legacy In Handicap Match Next Week

Backstage we see Josh Mathews with Triple H, who was icing his knee. Mathews talks about the attack from Legacy. HHH says Orton is the same punk he’s always been without Legacy. He said he’s going to eliminate that problem because he’s challenging both Legacy members to a two-on-one handicap match next week on RAW.

Beat The Clock Challenge:

-The Miz vs. John Cena

Miz cuts a promo on his way to the ring. He takes some sports-reference shots at Shaq and the local Washington DC fans. He says he doesn’t have to beat Cena, he just has to last 6 minutes and 49 seconds so Cena doesn’t beat the time. Orton is out for commentary but isn’t wearing a headset. He isn’t talking, he’s just sitting at the table. Miz ducks out to ringside early. Cena lets him get counted out, signaling to the crowd that he’ll still beat the clock. Miz decides to come back in the ring before the count ends. We see Mark Henry watching the match on a monitor backstage. Miz is taking control of the action here. He slams Cena into the ringside steps. The ref is counting out Cena as Miz is back in the ring, but Cena makes it in just in time. Miz ties Cena’s arms up into the ropes. Miz is mocking Cena while he’s stuck in the ropes. The ref gets Cena’s arms loose finally. Cena puts Miz in the STF and gets the win via submission. He beat the time too, winning in 4:27.

Winner: John Cena

After The Match: Orton/Cena At SummerSlam

Orton comes in from the announcers table into the ring. He’s glaring at Cena. Orton raises the title above his head. Cena smiles. The two stare each other down as the announcers hype their match four weeks from now at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per view.

Backstage: Shaq

We see Shaq backstage walking to the ring. He’s going to be the special enforcer in our main event, which is up next!
