It is expected that both Tiger Mask and IWGP Champion Shinsuke Nakamura of New Japan Pro Wrestling will appear at this weekâs iMPACT tapings. As we noted earlier, the next two weeks of TNA iMPACT will be taped tonight and tomorrow night respectively.
Speaking of New Japan, the following matches are confirmed for the upcoming New Japan show on February 17th:
* IWGP Champ Kurt Angle vs. IWGP Champ Shinsuke Nakamura to unify the belts
* AJ Styles vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
* IWGP Tag Team Champions Giant Bernard & Tomko vs. Makbe & Yano
TNA Wrestling will tape the next two weeks of iMPACT tonight and tomorrow night at the Impact Zone at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. It is expected that Samoa Joe will be added to the main event for the upcoming Against All Odds pay-per-view in a three-way match with TNA Champion Kurt Angle and Christian Cage at this weekâs tapings.
Speaking of tonightâs tapings, the company will film a segment on Brock Lesnarâs UFC debut (which is scheduled for February 2nd) with TNA Champion Kurt Angle offering his comments. This is part of TNAâs partnership with UFC as they will use Angleâs past with Lesnar to promote the fight.
