Daivari & WWE Officially Part Ways Today, Gail Kim, & More

Shawn Daivari’s 90-day no-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expires today, thus meaning that he is free to wrestle wherever he wants. In recent interviews, Daivari has expressed interest in joining TNA.

Gail Kim has a new MySpace page at www.myspace.com/gailk77. The old one had a bunch of spam on it, so she opened a new one. In a blog, she talks about her supposed injury and losing the title to Kong on last week’s iMPACT!: “So i decided to finally do this… man I suck with computers. so now everyone can check in with me here or through my website www.thegailkim.com Just wanted to write a little something since everyone is emailing me concerned about my “injury”. I really wish everyone would stop believing what they read on the internet. I guess it comes with the territory but some people wrote me saying my leg was injured. nope. I did get a minor concussion at Monday nights Impact tapings but Im completely fine now. I have to be honest though…I did feel like I got hit by a truck this past week…and that truck would be Awesome Kong! Yes…she took that title from me…but I promise that I will get it back… she probably had the slight advantage going into it since we wrestled the night before. and by the way, she really should not have had a chance to get that title since I beat her at Final Resolution, but I never back down from a challenge!”

According to GameStop.com, the “TNA iMPACT!” video game will be released on May 1, 2008.

WZR IS BACK TONIGHT: Rob Van Dam and Leticia Cline will be the guests on the return edition of WrestleZone Radio tonight from 7-9 PM EST. I (Ryan Clark) will be on the show on a weekly basis as well to run down all the latest news and rumors. This is going to be a lot of fun each week and the fan response to the show returning has been amazing already. The show used to be the biggest online wrestling radio show back in its heyday and will almost surely take that spot once again with the amount of promotion we will be giving it. I’m thrilled that this show is coming back and proud to be a part of it once again. More information on the show can be found at this link. I know they have Kip James, Christy Hemme, and Marty Janetty all booked for the show in the next two or three weeks so it’s off to a great start. It’s tonight from 7-9 PM EST at http://wrestlezone.com/radio/
