On the VH1 Top 20 Countdown, the host referred to Chris Jericho as two of his past names, Lionhart and the man of 1004 holds. On the show Jericho discussed his new book, his music and being a wrestler. He was also sporting spiked hair and appears to have lost some mass.
On the NFL Network during the USC vs. Oregon football game, the co-host used the âto be the man, you have to beat the manâ quote. He even went on to give credit to Ric Flair.
Many cable networks are making note of a new WWE Champion as the preview for this upcoming edition of RAW. Direct TV is one of them.
Steven Alexander sent this one: This morning, I was watching The Cost of Freedom: Bulls & Bears business program on the FOX News Channel, and WWE SmackDown! Color Commentator John “Bradshaw” Layfield was a guest on the program and he mentioned that he was going back to Iraq in “about four weeks” , which basically confirms that WWE will hold their 5th Annual Tribute to the Troops program this year – although Layfield has gone alone to Iraq, I’m guessing he’s going on the WWE tour. He also mentioned that several big businesses had donated care packages that they will take with them to give out to the men and women in uniform.
Last night’s 10/26 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a 2.6 fast national rating. This is down slightly from last week’s early 2.7 rating. The final rating should be available by early next week.
