Our WWE Raw results for tonight include a pair of Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat matches featuring CM Punk clashing with AJ Styles and El Grande Americano, and Liv Morgan taking on Stephanie Vaquer and Ivy Nile, War Raiders battling The Judgement Day, World Champion Jey Uso teaming with Sami Zayn against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Since the Pacers defeated the Knicks in the playoffs, Michael Cole has to work the show in an Indiana Pacers jersey.
It’s Clobbering Time!
CM Punk hypes the crowd for the show. Punk announces it’s the Summer of Punk. It’s Money in the Bank time, and he has cashed in that contract twice. Punk plans on doing it again. The crowd cheers as Punk announces he plans to win MITB. Jey Uso is his friend, but it’s not personal; it’s just business. Punk could choose to challenge John Cena, and that would be personal. Cena sold his soul to a bald fraud, and Punk’s always had Cena’s number. Punk calls Cena a punk bitch and proclaims it’s time for Punk to become champion one more time.
Sami Zayn interrupts. A “We want Truth” chant breaks out. Zayn notes they have the same ambition to become a world champion. Unfortunately, MITB isn’t in the cards for Zayn because of Rollins, Breakker, and Reed. Zayn tells Punk tonight that it is more critical than Punk understands. Tonight, Punk must win. Zayn tells Punk not to worry about Rollins and his cronies. Zayn will handle them later tonight. Rollins can not win MITB. We all need Punk to win tonight to stop that from happening. For what it’s worth, Zayn wants Punk to win. With that, if Punk does become champion, they will end up face-to-face in the ring again for a different reason. Punk and Zayn shake hands.
Grade: B+
Punk is always money on the mic. Seeing someone other than Seth Rollins interrupt Punk was a welcome change. It also laid the groundwork for a potential Zayn/Punk feud, which is new and interesting.
Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Triple-Threat Match: Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile
Nile and Morgan toss Vaquer out of the ring. After some back and forth, Vaquer takes both women out with a springboard crossbody. Devil’s Kiss by Vaquer to Morgan. Vaquer does the same to Nile. Moran breaks up the pin with a basement dropkick. Morgan lands the three amigos, with the last suplex dropping Vaquer on Nile. Nile German suplexes Morgan and Vaquer at the same time.
Vaquer and Morgan trade strikes. Nile sends Vaquer and Morgan flying with a Tower of Doom powerbomb. Vaquer kicks out. Nile and Vaquer trade pin attempts. Morgan lands a double diving code breaker. Morgan pins both women, but they kick out at 2. Vaquer gets to her feet. Morgan drops Vaquer with Oblivion. Nile tries to steal the pin. Morgan breaks it up. Nile sends Morgan into the ring steps. Vaquer blasts Nile with the SVB for the win.

Winner- Stephanie Vaquer
Grade: B
This was a hell of a “debut” for Vaquer. Everyone shined in this one at points, but Vaquer dominated the majority of the action. We all knew Nile was eating the pin, but the false finishes along the way were exceptional. Vaquer already seems like a bigger deal than 80% of the Raw locker room. Mission accomplished.
War Raiders vs. The Judgement Day
The World Tag Team Champions The New Day are at the commentary desk for this match. Bálor and McDonagh work over Erik. Ivar tags in and clears the ring. Out on the floor, Erik slams Iver on top of McDonagh. Ivar and Erik toss McDonagh into Kingston and Woods at ringside. The referee tosses Kingston and Woods from ringside. Ivar sets up the Doomsault. Roxanne Perez hops the barricade and distracts Ivar. Bálor knocks Ivar off the top and lands his double stomp for the win.
Winners- The Judgement Day
Grade: C+
Standard TV match. Not much to see here. The Judgement has new music… At some point, we have to escape the scourge of Def Rebel.

Angry Bird Noises
The Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Lyra Valkyria, screeches that she wants Becky Lynch to come out here right now. Lynch does, but as soon as she tries to speak, Valkyria tells Lynch to shut up. Valkyria says Lynch has changed her. Valkyria had to get angry. No one has ever hurt Valkyra the way Lynch has. Valkyria says she’s going to beat the crap out of Lynch and ensure she never touches the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Lynch says she didn’t want to hurt Valkyria; she tried to make her better. Now, Lynch wants to hurt Valkyria. Valkyria wants to fight here and now. Lynch says she doesn’t fight in Oklahoma and walks away. Valkyria runs Lynch down on the ramp and attacks. Referees separate Valkyria and Lynch.
Grade: C
The crowd was merciless here, “what’ing” over every word Valkyria spoke. Gotta give Valkyria points for powering through, but this segment didn’t land. The crowd still digs Lynch, but Valkyria just isn’t connecting beyond people making exciting bird noises during her entrance.
World Champion Jey Uso and Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
Reed and Breakker work over Zayn. Zayn surprises Reed with a tornado DDT. Zayn manages to tag in Jey. Jey clears the ring. Breakker catches Jey with a gutbuster. Breakker sets up the Super Spear. Jey counters with a superkick. Jey traps Breakker in a sleeper. Reed breaks it up with a senton. Zayn tries a dive and gets caught. Jey dives out of the ring and takes everyone out. Seth Rollins appears and destroys Jey with a Stomp on the ramp. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners- Jey Uso and Sami Zayn
After the match, Zayn is laid on the commentary desk. Reed goes up for a Splash. CM Punk hops the barricade with a chair and wacks Breakker with it. Reed charges in, and Punk chucks the chair into Reed’s face. Rollins runs away.
Grade: B-
This one was humming until the predictable disqualification finish. Yes, it furthers the story, but damnit, can we just have someone get pinned for a change?
Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez w/Liv Morgan
Sane is in control early. Sane tries a diving rana. Rodriguez catches Sane and slams her into the barricade. Morgan kicks Sane while the referee is distracted. Sane dives off the top and gets caught again. Rodriguez lifts Sane in a suplex. Sane reverses it into a DDT. Sane fires up and lands a running blockbuster. Sliding D by Sane. Sane goes up top. Morgan tries a distraction, but IYO SKY runs down the ramp and attacks Morgan. Rodriguez grabs SKY by the hair. Sane boots Rodriguez’s head into the ring post. Sane lands the InSANE Elbow for the win.
Winner- Kairi Sane
Grade: C+
Morgan vs. Sane would have been way more interesting. Rodriguez is the least convincing heavy in WWE history. All she ever does is get beaten. In NXT, Rodriguez was a monster. None of this makes sense, and under normal circumstances, this writer would say this was a good win for Sane. But since Rodriguez doesn’t win singles matches, it doesn’t even matter.

Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Triple-Threat Match: CM Punk vs. AJ Styles vs. El Grande Americano
Punk tells the referee to check Americano’s mask for a metal plate. Americano is clean. Styles and Punk beat down Americano. Punk tries to rip Americano’s mask off. Americano lands a dive that takes out Punk. Americano sends Styles into the commentary desk. After the break, Punk dropped an elbow on Styles. Styles breaks up Punk’s GTS attempt and lands a double DDT on Punk and Americano. Styles tries the Styles Clash, but Americano turns it into the Ankle Lock. Styles escapes.
Punk sets Americano up for the GTS. American reverses it into an Ankle Lock. Punk kicks Americano away. Styles crushes Americano with a Styles Clash. Americano kicks out. Americano breaks up Punk’s pin with a moonsault. Punk hits the GTS on Americano. Breakker appears and pulls Punk out of the ring. Reed and Zayn appear, and everyone brawls. Styles lands a dive that takes out everyone outside the ring. Styles tries the Phenomenal Forearm, but Americano catches Styles with a loaded headbutt shot. Americano pins Styles.
Winner- El Grande Americano
After the match, Rollins, Breakker, and Reed destroy Zayn, Punk, and Jey.
Grade: B
This was a fun match. Punk continued to prove he’s the smartest guy on the roster by having the referee check out Americano’s normally loaded mask. Americano is such a terrible idea that it works so well. This should end with Americano winning the AAA Championship and losing it to El Generico. Yes, we know Generico retired and is running an orphanage, but just walk with this writer for a bit. Rollins told us he would be interfering in this match, so we should have been shocked when it happened. The idea of Americano being the one to get the win was shocking, but this lousy finish furthered around 4576 storylines at once.
WWE Raw Review:
Tonight’s show was an uneven affair that had a few solid matches but tons of confusing narratives and screwy finishes. It’s hard to invest in a match when it ends in a screwy finish. If you do that two or more times in one night, just throw away the whole show.
