Mike Johnson is reporting that there has been talk of bringing in former Ring of Honor star Jimmy Rave for both the TNA No Surrender PPV on September 9 and the TV tapings the following night on September 10 in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios. It remains to be seen if Rave is coming in to work for TNA full-time or if it is a tryout, but he is said to be scheduled for both events. As covered earlier, Rave recently departed ROH after requesting his release.
A Tag Team Gauntlet Match is scheduled for the 9/9 No Surrender PPV. As things stand, the newly signed Jimmy Rave will team with Lance Hoyt.
TNA has posted a preview video for the upcoming Christian Cage DVD at TNAWrestling.com. The DVD will include older footage of Cage when he first started out, including early footage of WWE’s Adam “Edge” Copeland.
