Austin Starr was suspended by TNA for putting up a fuss about taking part in the filming of a vignette (the Bob Backlund skit that aired on iMPACT! two weeks ago with Shelley) on what was scheduled to be an off-day (between the PPV and TV taping). He probably wouldn’t have been suspended if he hadn’t earned a reputation for having an increasingly bad attitude in general in recent months.
Alex Marvez recently conducted an interview with Jacqueline Moore. In the interview, she talked about the incident involving her teeth getting knocked out at the 4/30 iMPACT! tapings and how she’s doing now.
Jeff Jarrett’s wife, Jill, remains on the minds of everyone in TNA as she has had a couple close calls in recent weeks (a collapsed lung once, and cardiac arrest last week). WrestleZone.com is reporting that everyone is trying to lay off the usual second-guessing and criticism of Jarrett lately as he’s been spending almost all of his time when he’s not on camera away from wrestling and being by his wife. He and his wife have three young children ranging in age from 3-11. Jill had the youngest child while in remission, but the cancer came back shortly after she gave birth.
