Impact Wrestling Results (9/8) – Jeff Hardy Speaks!

Austin Aries comes down to the ring and tells everyone to beat quiet and show some respect for Eric Bischoff's favorite X Division wrestler. He says he will be the next champion because he has his sights on Brian Kendrick, who is nothing more than a little hypocrite. He says Kendrick is jealous that Aries has the spotlight and asks him to come down to face him man to man. Kendrick comes down in a suit and tie and is carrying a briefcase along with his title. He tells Aries he knows why he makes fun of him, but he is trying to speak and dress properly today so he can be like Aries.

Kendrick says he has been getting compliments all day and he is even wearing shoes, but he is not sure that he likes this version of himself. He says he actually hates it, and says it represents dressing like a coward and he starts taking off the suit and shoes. Aries tells him he doesn't understand anything he says but he knows Kendrick has a title that belongs to him, and he is disrespecting by throwing it on the ground. Kendrick says it is a material object and tells Aries he is lucky he is a piece loving man, then decks Aries and goes for Sliced Bread. Aries avoids it and runs up the ramp as Kendrick celebrates in the ring.

Four Corners Match

Bully Ray vs Gunner vs Robert Roode vs James Storm

Samoa Joe tries to come down to the ring but Matt Morgan stops him from interfering and Gunner and Bully Ray use this to attack Storm and Roode. Storm punches Gunner and clotheslines him off the ropes but Bully clotheslines him then he gets knocked down by Storm. They knock Storm out of the ring then Bully bosses Gunner around while Gunner rams his shoulder into Roode in the corner. Storm jumps off the top with a crossbody then hits a jumping neckbreaker for a two count. Roode hits a neckbreaker on Bully and drops Gunner with a spinebuster, but the pin gets broken up and Beer Money signal for a double team suplex. They get surprised from behind by Bully with a double clothesline, and he hits Storm with a Bubba Bomb, but Gunner runs in and hits a running knee smash to steal the win from Bully.

Winner – Gunner

Jeff Hardy makes his return to TNA and he slowly makes his way down the ramp and gets a mic and enters the ring. He says he does not deserve it, but he thanks all of the fans for the applause then says he needs to thank the network for the time. Jeff says the last time he was in the ring he was messed up and pathetic, and he let everyone down and they have every right to feel that way. He can't change what happened at Victory Road, but he knows he hit rock bottom and he can't expect anyone to forgive him. He doesn't expect anyone in the back to forgive him either, but all he can do is ask for another shot, then drops the mic and leaves.
