Exclusive: More Details On Road Dogg’s New Role With WWE

Brian "Road Dogg" James officially starts as an agent/producer with the WWE this weekend, in time for tomorrow's Vengeance pay per view. While recent reports of James' signing have not indicated one way or the other, WrestleZone.com has learned that the initial agreement between the two parties is not a long-term deal. Rather, WWE offered and James agreed to a six-week trial period that will allow WWE time to determine whether Brian should be a permanent agent going forward or not.

The sources we spoke to expect WWE to sign James to a longer contract by the end of the six weeks, but as it stands right now, James is not working under a long-term agreement with the company.
