Sting is doing an interview backstage when Madison Rayne comes up to him and says he wants him to officially name her the VP of the Knockouts Division. He laughs and says he can't do it, and she says she can get the job done but he says he knows he saw her help Gail Kim cheat last week. Sting tells her he has bigger and better things for her, like putting her in a cage match with Mickie James next week. Madison tells him he doesn't need to do that, but he says he does because they need a cage match, then tells her ta-ta for now and waves her off and she runs away screaming and looks for Gail.
World Heavyweight Championship
Jeff Hardy vs Bobby Roode (c)
Roode hands the referee his title and Hardy kicks him through the ropes then throws him into the guardrail and slams his head off of a chair before pulling him up and kicking him in the stomach. Hardy throws him into the ringpost then into the steps, and Hardy stomps his head on the ring steps but Roode tries to come back with some punches. Hardy sweeps his legs and slingshots him into the ringpost then goes for a Twist of Fate, and Roode shoves him away but Hardy charges right back at him with a clothesline and rolls him in the ring.
The bell rings and Hardy hits a few clotheslines for a two count then drops Roode with a sit out suplex then whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him outside as we go to a break. When we return, Hardy throws Roode into the ring apron then punches and kicks him before whipping him knees first into the ring steps. Hardy pulls the steps back and goes for Whisper In The Wind against the guardrail, but Roode dives out of the way and Hardy crashes into the barricade. Roode gets up first and rolls in the ring while the ref continues to count, but Hardy gets up and makes it in at nine, but Roode tackles him and punches him in the head. (Cont'd…)
