Impact Wrestling Results (7/26) – Sting Becomes Interim GM, X Division Title Match, Aces & Eights Continue BFG Attacks

We get back from a break as Bully hits a side slam for a near fall, then Bully measures Kurt up and hits him in the jaw a few times. Kurt stuns him with a defensive clothesline, then Kurt punches him a few times and comes back with a shoulder block. Bully staggers him near the corner but Kurt comes right back with a belly-to-belly suplex, then Bully catches him with a Bully Bomb for a two count. Bully goes for a sidewalk slam but Kurt counters with a German suplex, then he holds on and hits two more.

Kurt pulls down the straps and puts him in the ankle lock, but Bully fights the pain and rolls through to send Kurt into the turnbuckles. Bully punches him a few times and hits a Uranage slam for a close near fall, then he backs into the corner and waits for Kurt to get up. Bully runs at him but Kurt sidesteps him and hits an Angle Slam for two, then he gets Bully near the ropes and heads up top. Kurt misses a top rope moonsault when Bully rolls away, then Bully goes for a Bubba Cutter but Kurt shoves him back.

Bully surprises him with a big boot for a two count, then he runs at Kurt in the corner but Kurt sidesteps him and hits an Angle Slam for the win. Aces and Eights hits the ring right at the bell, and they beat the hell out of Kurt while Bully watches from the floor. AJ Styles, Sting and Austin Aries run out to even things up, then James Storm's music hits and he rushes to the ring. Storm runs all of the Aces out of the ring, but Kurt and Storm argue about what just happened as the show goes off the air.
