WWE Smackdown Results (2/8) – Mark Henry Returns To Action, Fights For Spot In Elimination Chamber

Matt Striker joins Randy Orton in the locker room for his thoughts on tonight main event, and Orton says he needs to get something straight. Orton says Henry was out for nine months with an injury, and he came back and beat up a bunch of guys to try and get what he wants. He says Henry is running into a roadblock tonight, and he isn't going to be a pushover opponent, so if Henry isn't careful, Orton will put him back on the shelf.

We get back from a break to see Matt Striker with The Miz, and Miz says he's faced the baddest guys there are, but he saw something different in Brock Lesnar. He says he looked Brock in the face and took a beating, but he's still standing… and Antonio Cesaro walks over and laughs at him. Cesaro says Miz is a typical American and he sticks his nose where it doesn't belong, so he should think about backing away from trouble. Miz says he's right, so maybe he should stick his nose where it belongs, then he brawls with Cesaro on the ground until they are broken up by referees.

Mark Henry vs Randy Orton

Orton ducks a corner clothesline and punches Henry, then he hits a few short clotheslines but Henry shoves him back and kicks him in the shoulder. Henry throws him outside and punches him in the back, then tries to slam Orton into the ringpost but Orton floats over and shoves Henry into it. Henry rolls back in and shoves Orton in the corner, but Orton hits some mounted punches until Henry clotheslines him off of the turnbuckles. He rolls Orton back in and gets a near fall, then he steps on Orton's ribs and squeezes his trapezius muscles before throwing him in the corner. Orton comes back with a powerslam and a hanging DDT, then he calls for a RKO but Henry counters and shoves him away. Orton turns around as Henry hits him with a running splash in the corner, then he hits the World's Strongest Slam for the win.

Winner – Mark Henry
