Feb. 14, 2013

Hulk Hogan makes his way down to the ring, and the London crowd greats him with one of the biggest reactions in TNA history. Hulk announces that the TNA World Heavyweight Championship will be defended at Lockdown, and tonight we're going to see 8 men compete to try and earn the right to be called #1 contender. Hogan announces RVD vs. James Storm, with both men getting great reactions. Christopher Daniels vs. Magnus is also announced, and the hometown man gets a great pop. The other two matches are Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle, and Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries.

Hogan sets his attention to the Aces & Eights, and introduces the UK to the "captain of team TNA" set to lead the charge, Sting! The Icon is warmly received by London, and Sting puts them over as some of the best wrestling fans on the planet. Tonight, while Hogan looks for the #1 contender to the World title, Sting announces he's going to be looking for team members to combat the Aces & Eights at Lockdown.

(1) Christopher Daniels vs. Magnus

After a lock-up, Daniels runs the ropes but gets scooped up by Magnus, and transitioned into a vertical suplex. Kazarian gets involved though, choking Magnus on the top rope, allowing Daniels to apply a rest hold. The hometown crowd wills the Brit back into the match, and as Kazarian tries to get involved again, Magnus punches him off the apron. The referee ejects Kaz from the match, and throws his "manager's license" into the crowd. Magnus plants Daniels with a driver, and comes off the top rope with a huge top rope elbow drop. 1…2…3!

Winner: Magnus
