AJ Styles vs Austin Aries
AJ and Aries lock up in the corner before breaking, then AJ hits the ropes and knocks Aries down and puts him in a side headlock. Aries breaks it and knocks AJ back, then he rolls to the ramp and regroups before tying back up. AJ applies an armbar but Aries counters, then Aries goes for a dropkick but AJ ducks and goes for a Calf Killer. Aries blocks it and puts him in a headlock, then he shoves AJ into the ropes and goes for a rollup before heading outside. AJ goes for a baseball slide kick but Aries sidesteps him, then he heads up top and hits a double axe handle on the floor.
Aries rolls him in and heads back up top, but AJ cuts him off and dropkicks him outside before hitting a slingshot crossbody as we go to a break. We get back to see AJ dropkick Aries and take him down with a snapmare, then Aries rolls outside but AJ brings him back in and puts him in a chinlock. Aries breaks it so AJ whips him into the corner, then Aries elbows him and hits a discus punch before following with a clothesline off the ropes. Aries goes for suplex but AJ blocks it, then Aries floats over and goes for a backslide before he gets backdropped onto the apron. Aries lands on his feet and hits a neckbreaker on the ropes, then he hits a top rope dropkick before following up with the IED.
He goes for a Brainbuster but AJ knees him in the head, so Aries props him on the turnbuckles and tries to set up a superplex. AJ blocks it so Aries punches him again, then he lifts him up but AJ floats over and hits a neckbreaker for two before he sets up a springboard splash. Aries knees him in the face and puts him in Last Chancery, but AJ rakes his eyes and rolls through, putting him in the Calf Killer in the middle of the ring. Aries rolls through and somehow reverses into a Brainbuster for two, then he heads up top and goes for a 450 splash but AJ gets his knees up. (Cont'd…)
