WWE Cancels Spanish Tour Dates; John Cena Cited as Reason

WWE's affiliate website out of Spain has announced the cancellation of two world tour shows previously scheduled for Barcelona and Madrid this November. A rough translation of the website indicates that John Cena's injury, which has put him on the bench for 4-6 months may be one of the key reasons for the cancelled locations.

Instead, according to WWE.com, the company will be visiting Dublin, Ireland, Glasglow, Scotland and Brussels, Belgium on November 7th and 8th, as a part of a long European tour that will culmination in Monday Night Raw and WWE Smackdown both emanating from Manchester, England.

Wrestlezone reader "Conspiranoid" has sent in word that WWE's Spain-based exclusive coverage of Raw and Smackdown stopped this July, and was replaced with the traditional long-time Spanish broadcast team of Carlos Cabrera and Marcelo Rodriguez.
