wrestlemania 31WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York were present at today's WrestleMania 31 press conference in Santa Clara, CA. There was a lot of talk about how Levi's Stadium, which is currently being build for the 49ers 2014 NFL season, is striving to be the most technologically advanced sporting structure in the world. Among other features, the stadium will boast a high speed WIFI connection strong enough to support its massive population, which WWE plans to take full advantage of during its WrestleMania take-over in 2015. McMahon promises WrestleMania 31 will be "set a new standard" and be "the most interactive experience in WrestleMania history."

York commented, "WWE is certainly a model for innovation as they have perfectly blended the worlds of sports and entertainment. We look forward to providing the most technologically-integrated WrestleMania experience ever."

While currently the term "interactive" can be a bit off-putting for some fans who correlate it to the WWE App and voting for matches, WWE will likely use the outstanding technology at Levi's Stadium for live social media streams, taking pictures and videos from fans inside the area, from their Axxess events, behind-the-scenes footage and more. The idea would be to connect the fans at home to what is happening in California, and to encourage those in Santa Clara to check out what is going on around the arena.
