WWE Superstar, former tag team champion and member of The Shield Roman Reigns talked to the Houston Press this weekend. WWE will be invading the Houston area this Sunday for their annual TLC pay-per-view, where Reigns will be in action alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, as they take on CM Punk in a 3-on-1 handicap match.
On learning from Ambrose and Rollins:
"It's like they're watching a baby lion. He has no experience, but he knows what to do. He's gonna live, and he's gonna be king."
On being a member of the legendary Anoa'i wrestling family:
"It's a responsibility; I'm from such a prestigious lineage. Multiple WWE Hall of Famers are in my bloodline. It's one thing to reach par, but I'm tring to hit hole-in-ones every single night."
Roman Reigns is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika, one half of the Wild Samoans, and the younger brother of Matt Anoa'i, who wrestled for WWE as Rosey of 3-Minute Warning. His cousins include The Usos, The Rock and Yokozuna.
Reigns also spoke on being awarded a Slammy for his signature spear, the Shield's collective four Slammy Awards, his match at TLC this Sunday against CM Punk, and which member of WWE management he would "spear" if he got the chance.
