We're kicking things off with one of the last remaining matches in the first round of the NXT Women's Championship tournament.
NXT Women's Championship Tournament
Emma vs. Charlotte (w/ Sasha Banks)
Charlotte in total control at the start of the match. She locks in a Figure Four headlock, slowing down the pace from the beginning. Emma bridges the hold into a pin, forcing Charlotte to break the submission, responding with a nasty clothesline. Back into the hold we go. Emma finally breaks free and runs over her opponent with a flying clothesline. She takes a pink Cobra out of her boot and nails Sasha Banks – who jumped up on the apron – but is rolled up from behind with a crazy back bend pin for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Charlotte
-A battle royal to determine the #1 contender for the NXT Championship takes place tonight. Just in case you weren't sick of battle royals yet.
KILLAM: Short but decent women's match. Innovative cover by Charlotte; the highlight of the match. Emma has always been a comedy character, but I'm afraid affiliation with Santino means she'll never be taken seriously on the WWE roster.
