TNA Impact Wrestling Results (5/22) – Knockout Open Challenge, Aries vs MVP, EY vs Lashley

MVP taunts Eric and says he told him he would have a match tonight, and his opponent is Lashley. Dixie Carter comes out with Ethan as we go to a break, and we get back to see Dixie demanding to know why MVP is ignoring her. MVP says she was banned and he doesn't have time for this, then Bully Ray runs to the ring and chases them away with a pipe. MVP says he banned Bully too and wants to know why he's here, and Bully says he is sick of seeing MVP act the way he has. He says Eric Young has been here since day one, working his way from the bottom, then MVP mocks him and asks why he cares? Bully ends up going after them but he is overpowered, then Dixie comes back and and tells Ethan to get the tables. Ethan slides one in the ring and tries to put Bully through it, but Bully backdrops him and goes after Dixie. Ethan hits him from behind and hits a spinebuster through the table, then Dixie says she fears no one.

BP: It's getting close to being a clusterf*ck segment, but it still worked. Bully has issue with both MVP and Dixie, who also have issue with each other. I like the idea that there are more than two sides, but I hope it stays like this and doesn't turn into TNA's favorite, a stable war.

Falls Count Anywhere

Magnus (w/ Bram) vs Willow

Willow hits Magnus a few times and throws him across the floor, then he heads up top and goes for a Swanton. Magnus rolls away but Willow knocks him down, then he heads back up top and hits a somersault dive. Willow clotheslines him outside and gets a two count, then he goes for a Twist of Fate but Magnus counters with a clothesline. Bram hands Magnus a crowbar, and Magnus is initially reluctant but ends up hitting Willow in the stomach with it. Bram tells Magnus to bash him in the head with it, but Magnus second guesses it and Willow surprises him with a Twist of Fate for the win.

Winner – Willow

Gunner visits Samuel Shaw in the asylum again, and Gunner says he isn't going anywhere until Shaw talks to him. Shaw slams his head off the wall and asks why Gunner is there, then Gunner says he's there for him. Gunner says he knows this all too well, and he has spent plenty of time in places like this. Gunner tells Shaw he had a friend while he was serving that went a bit crazy, and he had him committed to a place like this. He says the friend ended up getting better, and he thinks Shaw can get better with some help and trust. Shaw asks how he can trust him, and Gunner says he is going to try and get Shaw out of the straightjacket he's in.
