According to the Wrestling Observer, AAA officials are extremely happy with Alberto Del Rio‘s role in the company right now.
They see him as the top guy right now, and are very pleased with how he presents himself as the face of the company and how he carries himself in media interviews.
Josh Mathews In TNA
Former WWE announcer Josh Mathews may begin an on air role with TNA when they begin Impact Wrestling on a new network in 2015.
He could still appear in some backstage segments while TNA is on Spike TV, but it is believed he may take a role as an announcer after the new year.
New Network For TNA?
In a somewhat related note, Eric Bischoff recently retweeted the following image posted by business partner Jason Hervey.
It’s speculation at this point, but TNA is rumored to be close to a deal with WGN America, one of the four reported networks looking for a deal with TNA:
