Update on Billy Jack Haynes vs WWE Lawsuit

wwe nxtPWInsider.com is reporting WWE has requested another time extension to respond to the lawsuit brought against the company by Billy Jack Haynes.

The request was granted by the judge yesterday, so WWE has until 1/30/15 to respond to the lawsuit.

Once WWE’s response has been filed, the Portland, Oregon court can proceed with the case.

As we previously reported, Billy Jack Haynes filed a 30 page lawsuit, designed to be similar to the one brought against the NFL by former players, alleging WWE “has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused long-term irreversible bodily damage, including brain damage.”

The following matches have been taped for this week’s edition of WWE NXT on the Network:

–The Ascension vs. Finn Balor & Hideo Itami

-NXT Tag Team champions The Lucha Dragons vs. Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

-Blue Pants vs. Carmella

-Baron Corbin vs. CJ Parker

Also appearing are NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte, Bull Dempsey, Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Sasha Banks, Natalya and Becky Lynch.

In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
