TNA Impact Wrestling Results (3/6) – Drew Galloway’s Debut Match, New Tag Team Champions, Spud Calls EC3 Out, New #1 Contender!

Bobby Roode comes out and says Eric Young tried to take everything from him, but he’s still standing here. He says he will become the new number one contender to the title tonight, and there’s no one who can stop him. Kurt Angle says he will be what’s in Roode’s way, and he will be number one contender, so if Roode disagrees they don’t need to wait. Kurt walks to the ring but Eric Young attacks Roode from behind, and Kurt pulls Eric away and Eric tries to sucker punch him. Kurt hits him, then Roode decks Eric, and Eric retreats as Roode holds the back of his head.

Matt Hardy vs Bram

Bram punches Matt in the corner a few times and tries to hit a big boot, but Matt ducks and hits a clothesline and bulldog. Matt sends him outside but Bram kicks him into the ring apron, then he slams him into the side of it and rolls him inside. Bram uppercuts him and goes for an elbow drop, but Matt rolls away and connects with a clothesline. Bram shoves him away but Matt kicks him in the face, then he hits an elbow to the head and follows with a middle rope elbow drop for two. Matt hits a Side Effect for two, then he calls for a Twist Of Fate but Bram shields himself with the ref. Bram uses the distraction to hit a low blow, then he ends it with a swinging DDT for the win.

Winner – Magnus

Bram gets a piece of the turnbuckle and tries to attack Matt, but Magnus returns and beats the hell out of Bram. Magnus says Bram needs to listen, and Magnus says he could’ve gone home with a broken heart, or he could stand up for his family and these people. Magnus says he will get his hands on Bram, and it’s definitely personal, so there are no titles or money involved. Magnus says will give Bram the beating he deserves, and make sure Bram’s blood is spilled in England before it’s all over.

BP: Really good promo with intensity from Magnus here. The match itself was good, and the promo after made sense. It was better that they didn’t use the match as a throwaway *just* to get to the promo.
