‘Nightmare’ Danny Davis Sells Ohio Valley Wrestling After 22+ Years, ‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Continues to Tease Pro Wrestling Run

‘Nightmare’ Sells OVW

Ohio Valley Wrestling announced early this morning that founder Danny Davis has sold majority ownership of the promotion to a private investor, after more than 22 years at its head. OVW was the primary developmental facility for WWE between 2000 and 2008, producing stars like John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Dave Bautista, Shelton Benjamin, Nick ‘Eugene’ Dinsmore and many, many more under Davis.
