Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown “Many Questions To Answer in 4 Weeks”

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

wwe smackdownVia Wrestlezone:

Cesaro goes for a quick rollup before press slamming Rollins, then he goes for a rolling uppercut but Rollins avoids it. Rollins knocks Cesaro outside and kicks him into the barricade, then we get back from a break to see Rollins knock Cesaro down and apply a headlock. Cesaro fights back and deadlifts Rollins into a suplex, then he connects with several uppercuts and a snap suplex.

Cesaro gets another near fall before Rollins catches him with a sunset flip powerbomb, then calls for a Pedigree. Cesaro blocks and puts him in a Sharpshooter, but Rollins escapes so Cesaro counters with a Crossface. Rollins crawls for the ropes so Cesaro pulls him by the legs and slams him down, then connects with a pop-up uppercut for two. Rollins tries to leave but Cesaro chases him and hits a diving uppercut and throws him in the ring. The ref gets Rollins’ title out of reach (from when Rollins grabbed it on the way out) and Rollins pokes Cesaro in the eyes and hits a Pedigree for the win.

After the match, Owens powerbombs Cesaro. First thing is first and that is Seth Rollins and Cesaro can GO! They guys are so smooth, so professional and have this incredible design with their move set in the ring. It is always physical, fast and smooth. I rarely see timing issues or missed steps from either man and credit goes to both of them. I loved that Rollins won clean, without help, over a very good opponent. I also enjoyed that Cesaro got some time backstage to speak his mind. He continues to grow and is on the best path he could be at.

Who does Seth Rollins face? Is John Cena the right call? Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens can be excellent. Will WWE let that happen at SummerSlam? Many questions around the United States and WWE World Heavyweight Championship matches in four weeks. It sounds like a lot of time, but it is not.
