adam roseBackstage News on Paige Replacing Hogan on Austin Podcast

As noted, Hulk Hogan was originally scheduled to be the guest on this past Monday’s edition of “The Steve Austin Show” on the WWE Network, but following his recent controversy, Hogan was replaced by Paige on the podcast.

It’s being said Hogan was initially scheduled to be the guest on the show on August 10th, which would have been this coming Monday night, and one day before his 62nd birthday.

More Details on the Future of Adam Rose’s WWE Gimmick

There has been a lot of speculation throughout the last week that Adam Rose might be getting a gimmick change, and maybe even bringing back the Leo Kruger character he used in NXT.

Rose himself has been Tweeting about the Kruger character, and this past Tuesday he and his fans even got #WeWantKrugerBack trending for awhile on Twitter.

Additionally, Adam Rose and Brad Maddox recently debuted a new “Beef Mode” tag team during a WWE live event, which further indicates change might be coming for Rose’s character.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com recently reported that Adam Rose is on “stand-by” in WWE, as there are a few stories circulating in WWE as to what is happening with him. In any case, it looks like the Adam Rose character will not be around much longer on the main roster.

Given the ESPN special which recently aired profiling Adam Rose, I would be surprised if WWE actually releases him. The special revealed a lot of details about Rose’s personal life, and if WWE is considering releasing him, as they have in the past, it might be a bad PR move right now. I for one really like Raymond Leppan, which is Adam Rose’s real name, and hope WWE finds something great for him to do on the main roster.
