Royal Rumble
As noted, Vince McMahon announced that Roman Reigns would be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the Royal Rumble match during last night’s episode of RAW.
This is the only the second time in Royal Rumble history that the Rumble match itself will be a championship match, but it is the first time in history the match will be defended by the current champion in the Royal Rumble match.
The 1992 Royal Rumble saw Ric Flair win the vacant WWE Championship. This year’s Royal Rumble takes place on January 24, 2016, at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt posted the following tweet after all four members of the Wyatt Family were confirmed for the Royal Rumble match on RAW. The ‘riders’ referenced in Wyatt’s tweet are the common names for the ‘Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse’.
