Vince Russo’s THE BRAND which could be both SEEN and HEARD daily on the RELMNetwork.com and PodcastOne.com, was highlighted this week by the first part of my SWERVE interview with Nick Aldis, aka Former TNA Superstar Magnus, and the conclusion of my discussion with NEW Minority Owner of TNA, and founder of the Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan.

In the discussion with Nick, the former TNA World Champion gives us a critical, yet intelligent look at some of the many issues he faced when coming to the states from England to begin his illustrious career. From being stereotyped as simply a “Brit”, by writers such as myself, to having to overcome the favoritism of his boss, Dixie Carter, Nick doesn’t mince words when it comes to his thoughts and opinions concerning his career. From there, later on in the week, the discussion with Billy Corgan gets about as real as real can be, being that as an employee of TNA for over a decade, there was just no way possible for me to store my personal feelings inside. Billy and I, while totally respecting each other, dissected and debated in a raw and honest interview that you really don’t see much today.

Here are some of Billy’s quotes from the interview:

On the mindset of some of today’s younger talent:

“There’s the philosophical quandary of where we are going as a business and I’m not even talking about TNA, I’m talking about the wrestling business in general, because you do deal with some young talent who are green and you go up to them and tell them you need them to do this and that, and they don’t believe in it because philosophically and generationally, they don’t see that in being their future.”

On the state of Professional Wrestling Today:

“Business across the board is down for everybody. Nobody has figured this out. So I’m not trying to say our philosophy is better than the next guy’s philosophy—everybody is trying to figure it out–including me–within the walls of any particular company, but nobody has cracked the egg yet. The business needs to evolve forward, but nobody has figured out what that formula is for 2016 and the future.”
