Rusev w/Lana vs Titus O’Neil

Before the bell rings O’Neil levels Rusev with a huge right hand. O’Neil is pounding on Rusev. The referee finally gets O’Neil off Rusev so they can start the match. O’Neil tosses Rusev around the ring like a ragdoll. Rusev manages to land a looping right hand that sends O’Neil to the mat. After a bit of ground and pound, Rusev knees O’Neil in the gut over and over again. Rusev hits a spinning wheel kick for a near fall. O’Neil hits a few clotheslines and Rusev decides enough is enough. Rusev leaves the ring and gets the U.S. title. O’Neil follows and they double clothesline each other on the outside. They both struggle to get to their feet. Rusev charges O’Neil, but O’Neil sidesteps and tosses Rusev into the time keeper’s area. O’Neil gets back in the ring before the 10 count.

Winner- Titus O’Neil (count out)

Backstage, Stephanie runs into Kane. Kane pitches (once again) that he should run Smackdown. Stephanie says she is going be running Smackdown. The Miz and Maryse walk in and Miz complains that he didn’t get the treatment a star should receive. Miz notes that after being away for the last 30 days he would expect better treatment. Kane interrupts and lets Miz know that there is a clause that says he must defend the Intercontinental title once every 30 days or he will have to relinquish it. Stephanie says that’s a great idea. Miz will defend the IC title against a surprise opponent.
