Say what you will about the “push” or lack thereof that Darren Young is getting, that was a pretty entertaining way to end the battle royal. It reminded me of a finish you would see if Santino Marella were still in the WWE. I have no idea where the “Make Darren Young Great Again” thing is going, but so far I like it. You can’t go wrong with Bob Backlund at ringside acting crazy.

Backstage, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon are discussing why Vince McMahon is coming to Raw tonight. Seth Rollins interrupts and says he has exclusive footage in reference to the Roman Reigns controversy. Shane says he should do it on the “Ambrose Asylum.” Rollins says they should do it on the “Rollins Report” instead. Shane tells Stephanie it’s up to her. Stephanie tells Rollins to go for it.

Backstage, Zack Ryder finds Rusev and challenges him to a title match at Battleground. Before Rusev can respond, Sheamus appears out of nowhere and attacks Ryder. Sheamus tells him not to worry about Rusev when he has a match against him right now. Rusev and Lana walk over Ryder’s prone body.

Wait, since Rusev stepped over Ryder while he was on the ground, doesn’t that mean he should have hit him in the balls? What? Too soon?
