As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was recently interviewed by Forbes’ House Money Studios, and below are several more interview highlights:

On Seth Rollins injuring John Cena being similar to Bill Goldberg ending Bret Hart’s career with a kick to the head:

“Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head and ended my career because he didn’t know what he was doing. You get guys that cost me millions and millions of dollars, cost me my career, probably led to my stroke, and so many things that happened all because somebody didn’t know what they were doing. And then you get someone like Seth Rollins who’s pushed right to the top and is a big star in the company. What if he had killed John Cena in the ring? There’s just no room for those kinds of errors. I’ve seen, in my opinion, really skilled wrestlers like Wade Barrett, I consider Drew McIntyre another one…Cody Rhodes is now another one, that have been passed over and missed the train, and you question is it because they were not good enough?…To me those were guys I tuned in to watch.”

On Seth Rollins in his match against Sting at WWE Night of Champions:

“Seth Rollins, I saw him hurt Cena and it wasn’t even a week, ten days later that he was so rough or hard on Sting. He did things to a guy that kind of ended his career a lot faster. It was a little bit of a disrespect to a guy that you need to take care of him in the ring.”

On people like Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon not understanding sports injuries:

“They don’t understand that when you do these kinds of things, you can kill somebody. It may look great but you really need to think twice with what you’re doing.”
