HART STILL BEATING

A NEW CHAPTER IN THE LEGACY OF THE HART WRESTLING FAMILY!

The Hart family are an institution in the wrestling world. Stars like Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Owen Hart were some of the biggest stars of the 1990s. Unfortunately, the family has been plagued by tragedy, notably the in ring death of Owen.

Now, Smith Hart, the eldest of the wrestling Hart brothers, is fighting his biggest battle yet: metastatic cancer.

Separated from his son when Matt found his mother dead on his 13th birthday, Smith lived the life of an itinerant pro wrestler and trainer. For years he was unable to see his son. He has now reconnected with a young man that dreams of following in the footsteps of his famous family. And Smith is devoted to reconnecting and training Matt Hart with every last ounce of strength.

Featuring interviews with third generation Hart family stars Teddy Hart and Harry Smith (aka Davey Boy Smith Jr.) and Smith’s siblings Ross and Diana Hart, the story of a family determined to carry on their legacy is moving and motivating.

BEHIND THE CURTAIN

Award winning Edmonton film makers Frederick Kroestch and Kurt Spenrath, with editor Dean Davey, pull back the curtain on the action packed “smash and crash” world of professional wrestling. Following in the footsteps of WRESTLING WITH SHADOWS, they reveal a real family with real concerns and real love.
