EB: What is your relationship going to be like with New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2017 and beyond since they are entering the United States market?
JK: I can only speak about our relationship today. I think what they are trying to do in the United States is just something we are going to have to wait and see. Right now we have a very good, solid relationship with them. We are going to be participating on their shows on July 1st and 2nd. Interestingly enough Cody Rhodes will be the first free agent to ever get a title shot in Ring of Honor this Friday night on PPV and he’s also having an IWGP title shot within a week. I think that’s the first time a “free agent” has done that. We are going to be working with them in the fall as part of our UK tour that will also have CMLL plus New Japan. As far as I know that relationship is sound. I think they want to see how they are going to do domestically, as they should. We are kind of mixed together and I think that relationship will probably, I’m hoping, hold at that level. Right now my relationship with them and ROH’s relationship with them is as solid as it’s ever been. I don’t want to cast any kind of doom or gloom… I just don’t know. I hope that answers the question.
