In Ring Segment: Dan Lambert

Lambert says he came here to say I told you so. Lambert says they proved everything he said they would. Lambert runs down the crowd. Lambert says Impact Wrestling promised to grant Bobby Lashley his release. Impact has gone back on their word. Lambert is going to give Impact one more chance to do the right thing. Lambert had his lawyers draw up the release papers. An official needs to get to the ring now and sign these papers. Moose’s music hits. Moose walks out on the stage and asks Lambert if he is saying MMA is better than pro wrestling? Lambert says you are damn right it is. Moose says it took six people to beat one Moose at Bound for Glory. Moose says he used to think Lambert was smart but Lambert came here by himself. Moose grabs Lambert but the entire American Top Team faction hits the ring. James Storm hits the ring and makes the save. Storm superkicks Lashley. Someone tries to stop Storm from attacking Lambert but Storm hits him in the head with a bottle.

Storm grabs the mic and says Lambert has no right to talk about pro wrestling. Storm says he has been wrestling for 20 years. So many people told him he could never make it but his mother had faith in him and he will never forget that. Storm was here in 2002 when the doors first opened. Storm runs down his accomplishments with America’s Most Wanted and Beer Money. I just have to point to point out that as Storm is delivering this impassioned promo the guy that got hit in the head with the bottle is still laid out in the middle of the ring. Strom says this is all about respect and that is what pro wrestling is all about.

Storm has always been good on the mic but tonight he was on fire. Also, can we take a moment and give Lambert a hand? For a guy who has never worked in wrestling, he has taken to the whole “heel manager” shtick very quickly. I am not 100% sure if there is anything to be gained from having ATT in Impact, but they may want to keep Lambert around. Imagine having him manage a stable of actual wrestlers? That could be interesting.
