On The Young Bucks‘ questioning him and his Best Friends tag team partner Chuck Taylor’s friendship ahead of the big Young Bucks v Best Friends match at ROH’s February 9th Honor Reigns Supreme event in Concord, NC:

TB: It hurt me, to be honest. It hurt me to hear them say that. I don’t know how they found out that me and Chuck were arguing a lot on the last New Japan tour but that did happen. That’s what friends do. It was mostly just over match stuff. It was me being a dick and wanting my way with match strategy. I don’t know, we were just getting into fights because we were wrestling every single day. I wanted it my way and he wanted me to listen to his ideas and… hey, we’re BEST FRIENDS. We fight. The Young Bucks don’t know what they’re talking about.

On The Young Bucks referring to themselves as “Best Brothers”:

TB: That’s kind of messed up because they have a couple other brothers too. I think they’ve got a brother named Malachi? They’re leaving out Malachi! That’s hurtful! What kind of brothers are those?! Malachi, I’ve seen him do standing shooting stars in PWG circa 2009-2010. Seems like a good guy to me!

On The Young Bucks saying they are better friends because they are “lip kiss friends” and if Trent and Chuck are “lip kiss friends”:

TB: We did kiss one time but it was in a wrestling match. Chuck was dressed as a woman. Does that count? Yes, that counts. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen The Young Bucks kiss on the lips. Clearly in that video it was staged. Clearly they had their friends ready to come in and break it up.
