Asuka vs Nia Jax
Jax pushes Asuka into the corner. Jax splashes Asuka in the corner. Jax pulls Asuka out of the corner and headbutts her. Jax beals Asuka clear across the ring. Jax drops Asuka with a sidewalk slam. Jax tries to lift up Asuka but Asuka turns it into an octopus hold. Asuka tries to transition into another move but Jax cuts her off. Asuka leaps up to the top rope for her patented dropkick. Jax levels her with an elbow before Asuka can lift off. Jax pulls Asuka off the top and hits a spin out inverted facebuster. After the break, Asuka hits a shining wizard. Jax kicks out at one. Jax obliterates Asuka with a Samoan drop. Asuka gets her foot on the rope. Jax was .1 seconds away from losing this match.
Jax gorilla press slams Asuka. Jax misses a running leg drop. Jax tries to lift Asuka off the mat by Asuka traps her in an armbar. Jax gets to her feet. Asuka transitions into a triangle. Jax lifts up Asuka and drops her in a one arm powerbomb. Asuka doesn’t let go. Jax picks up Asuka and drops her again. Asuka will not let go. Jax powerbombs Asuka into the top turnbuckle. Asuka holds on. Jax tries to drop Asuka over the top rope. Asuka holds on. Jax tries to toss Asuka but Asuka holds on and rolls into a cross arm breaker. Jax has no choice but to tap out.
Winner- Asuka
After the match, Jax’s arm is dangling like a wet noodle. Jax is crying from the pain. Jax eventually gets to her feet and (most of) the crowd gives her a standing ovation. Jax slowly makes her way up the ramp.
Backstage, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James are watching the match. Bliss looks terrified by what she just witnessed.
