Yesterday news came out that ‘Mae Young Classic’ competitor Abbey Laith was released from her WWE NXT contract. The wrestler who previously performed as ‘Kimber Lee’ signed with the company in January 2017, and was used only a few times on NXT TV. Today, Laith took to Twitter to send thanks to WWE and the fans who have supported her.

Laith announced her return to the independent circuit with the co-promoted Beyond Wrestling and Chikara Pro show at the Wrestle Factory in Philadelphia, PA on April 28th.
