More information about Jeff Hardy’s DWI arrest and a related car accident from this weekend in Cameron County, North Carolina are coming to light. TMZ reports that the RAW superstar took a Breathalyzer test following the incident, blowing a .25, which is three times the legal limit. Hardy’s license was suspended for 30 days and he is scheduled to appear in court on April 16th.

Hardy was recently cleared by his surgeon to return to the ring following a shoulder injury in the fall of 2017, and was reportedly going to report to WWE medical official soon, to get an official release from them. It is unclear at the time how this DWI arrest will affect Hardy’s return.

Hardy currently has two strikes against him on the WWE Wellness Policy from his prior run with with company. In 2011, Hardy was arrested on drug possession charges and served a short jail sentence. It’s worth noting that the 2011 drug issue occurred while Hardy was not under contract with WWE.
