On Outside stars coming to Impact and getting main event opportunities over him:

FB: Honestly, it’s a great time to be in Impact Wrestling because of that. I never thought I would see Austin Aries vs Pentagon Jr. That’s stuff you would ever see here. I am a huge fan of high flying wrestling even though I can’t do it (laughs). I’m a big fan. It’s awesome to see their high-flying guys against our high-flying guys. Only in wrestling… in comic books you are never gonna see the Marvel guys against the DC guys, you know what I mean? But here you get to see Impact guys vs Lucha Underground guys. As a fan, it’s great to see.

On Sami Callahan’s attack on Eddie Edwards and a recent attack on Don Callis:

FB: Listen, bro, my character doesn’t speak English (laughs). So, I’m going to stay away from that. He’s got a bat and I’m barefoot, you know what I’m saying? He’s like… yeah. Everyone is on defense now. You see him in the locker room a stand clear of him.

On why he got involved When KM was berating Richard Justice:

FB: Fat shaming, man. I have dealt with that my whole life. You are not this big in one day. You deal with this every day and you deal with the baggage of living like this, you know? From one big guy to another you have to have each other’s back.

On if he has dealt with fat shaming in the wrestling business as a whole:

FB: Okay, so it’s weird. Everyone says it’s an aesthetic sport. It’s all about how you look. There are a ton of nicer physics than me. I felt like an outsider in the wrestling business because I felt so different, but being accepted as the person I am and putting it out there and selling it as my brand made me ok with myself. The baggage I was carrying my whole life being this big it wasn’t so heavy anymore, you feel me? It helped me for the better in real life.

On his advice for anyone being bullied or fat shamed:

FB: Love yourself; Be who you are and just own yourself. I was very uncomfortable trying to be something I am not. I had my different phases growing up. Trying to be this or that. I am a big Asian dude. A big Philippino dude. I stand out. I wanted to look like everyone else, but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have this baggage. Especially in wrestling. I learned to love myself and own what I have. It got me farther than I ever thought I would be.
