MATCH 3: “The Neon Ninja” Facade vs. Eli Isom

In-set promo by Facade: he’s traveled all over the world for his chance to leave his mark in ROH. He then sprays some spray paint for emphasis.

Eli Isom comes out. In-set promo: tonight, Eli gets his shot, and it’s about time. By the time it’s the end of the night, everybody’s gonna be yelling “eesh.”

Code of Honor adhered. “Go Ninja” chant is heard an d the two circle one another. Grapple into some roll-up pin attempts. Ninja flips over and more impressive pinning attempts. The two both flip up to their feet to a round of applause. The two fist bump as Facade trips Isom into a takedown. Facade cartwheels and Isom eventually connects with a jumping knee. Running European uppercut in the corner by Isom. Facade headstands in the corner which gets him lifted into a running powerslam position. Facade escapes and springboards off the ropes to deliver a savate kick to Isom’s face. Isom rolls to the outside. Facade goes for an outside leap attempt, but Isom reads it, goes back into the ring Facade flips over but gets shot with a gutwrench backbreaker. He hits a release northern lights suplex and yells at the crowd to get them amped. Ninja on the outside connects with a kick to charging Isom. He climbs back into the ring to jump from second rope, to third rope to 450 clothesline Isom onto the outside. Crowd loves it. “Go Ninja” chant as Facade walks the ropes to kick Isom in the face for a two. Bully Ray enters the ring to clothesline Facade. Isom gets picked up by the hair and dumps him out of the ring. Crowd booes and a Cheeseburger chant starts. Bully also dumps Facade to the outside and grabs a mic.

Winner: No Contest

These two did all they could to showcase their talents and I’d say it was a successful venture. Facade had some very impressive spots and Isom looked like he was capable of matching his athleticism too. The in-set promo by Isom does show he’s a bit new, but every experience is a learning experience at this point.

As ROH enforcer, Bully Ray is enforcing his right to fire both Facade and Isom. They’re young boy bottom feeders who don’t deserve a job in the wrestling business. Don’t show up again. Out comes Cheeseburger. Crowd chants again. Cheeseburger says he respected Bully, but he wants to tell him to his face: “you’re a piece of sh*t.” Crowd goes crazy. The two stare each other down as he flattens him with a chokeslam. Joe Koff comes out to say other promotions have told him about Bully Ray, but being the nice guy he wanted to give him a chance. For awhile, Bully did do a good job, but now he’s telling Bully that “he’s done.” Bully says if he’s done then he’s officially announcing himself back on the active roster. Bully flips the crowd off with his WWE HOF ring.

Cody, Marty & Hangman Page. Cody asks the two if they know who he hates? Christopher Daniels. Hangman also hates Frankie Kazarian. They all hate SoCal Uncensored. After they defeat them, they will get another opportunity at the 6-man belts and at Best In The World, Cody will regain his ROH World Championship. This stops Marty. He’s going to wrestle Dalton Castle for the belt. Page gets them back on track to say they’re going after SoCal.
