Ronda needs to wrestle weekly just like every other women’s wrestler on RAW. There is no alternative to this necessity. If she continues getting special treatment, the fans will turn on her big time. In fact, why isn’t she wrestling every week? Is she not ready or does the WWE think that she has more value this way? If it’s the latter, then the WWE couldn’t be more out of touch with what the audience wants to see.

Special treatment is only acceptable by the fans when it’s reserved for legends such as The Undertaker and The Rock, Ronda isn’t a WWE legend. I find it hard to believe that fans will be more invested in her matches if they happen once a month, and at this point her wrestling in the WWE is no longer a big deal. If she’s not ready, then she needs to be off TV until she is, as otherwise it begins to feel like special treatment and will eventually turn the fans off.

If the WWE wants to make the most out of their investment in Ronda Rousey, then they need to make sure that she can put on at least a decent match and that she can deliver at least an average promo. For once, WWE’s obsession with overproducing talent may be in their best interests.

I also think that Ronda should be booked more strongly, I wasn’t a fan of how easily Nia threw her around at Money in the Bank as I feel that it hurt her image as a dominant force. I also don’t think that they should call her “the baddest woman on the planet”, it’s basically a 1990’s term being used in 2018. It’s incredibly outdated and sounds a little weird.

Another thing that needs to go, is her “Rowdy” nickname. I understand that she is a “Rowdy” Roddy Piper fan, but she doesn’t need to copy his nicknames as it just makes her look like a fan and not as a serious performer. I’ll even go so far as to say that maybe she should talk less and be more aggressive.

Ronda Rousey is finally a WWE Superstar. She’s popular and got the company more attention. The question now is whether things will keep going up from here. If the WWE continues to use Ronda the way that they do now, I suspect that the fans will turn on her, and that we may be headed towards another Roman Reigns situation.

The WWE needs to stop giving Ronda special treatment and play to her strengths. If they do that then they will have a successful time working with Ronda.
