PWInsider is reporting that Titus O’Neil has filed a counter-suit against the cameraman who is suing him and WWE for a 2015 incident that occurred on the WWE Network prank show Swerved. The cameraman, David Anderson, successfully filed suit against O’Neil and the WWE in the state of Florida in April.

In Anderson’s original suit, he claims allegedly that O’Neil got extremely angry when he was shocked by Paige with a cattle prod and proceeded to kick the camera out of Anderson’s hand, injuring him in the process.

O’Neil’s counter-suit is for $15,000 (the same amount Anderson’s April suit was for) and it alleges conspiracy to commit battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress as well as several other charges.

Some other interesting aspects to note is that O’Neil alleges in his response (which was filed on June 19) that he “acted out of necessity to prevent being assaulted” and O’Neil included in his counter-suit items that show that an electroshock stick wasn’t on the list of pranks approved by WWE’s then-Vice President of Development, Brian Terwillinger. The prank was “unbeknownst to WWE.”
