Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 3-22

Opening Segment:

Dixie Carter starts the show talking about how disrespectful Roode has been to her and management over the past few months. She says there is only one thing to do, but Sting comes out before she speaks. He says she cannot fire him and they cannot get the exact revenge. Sting says that he is not getting it done, and cannot be GM and a wrestler on the scale of Roode. Sting says he needs to go home, rest up, and come back 100 percent to fight Roode. Sting says there is one man who can run the show, and that is Hulk Hogan. Sting says for Dixie to trust him and he knows what he is doing.

What I Liked:

About time. This is the first time where I strongly agree what they are doing with Sting and his character. He is not a "administrative" figure, someone who is believed to run a company. Hogan is that guy due to his real life backstage politics. I felt like Dixie and Sting did a good job to really make this feel as real as possible.

What I Disliked:

Dixie needs to stay off TV for a while, let Hogan take over, and really force the point of her being behind the scenes. There is not much she can do in camera to further any specific angle like she did here with Roode. I really think that Hogan will do a good job, but also fear that he will turn on the company or try to really stab Dixie in the back, which we have seen before.

X Division Championship: Austin Aries vs. Anthony Niese vs. Kid Kash vs. Zema Ion:

What I Liked:

Great in ring action between these four athletes. Aries is still on a different level as a complete character. Ion's offensive skill set shined here as well. His moonsault was perfectly landed onto the outside. Aries hit a wonderful Double Reverse STO, showcasing his athleticism and flexibility. I loved this match, great to watch these guys really show you what the business is about. Also, when Bully Ray attacked, I really felt like it was a good call to have him run rough shed on guys like this. He does not say much, but let's his actions speak much louder than his words. He took all the guys in hostage, attacked them all, and he looked great doing it.

What I Disliked:

Kid Kash and Anthony Niese in the match were out of place. They should have had more relevant wrestlers from the X Division. Either way, I am nit picking and can really say this entire segment worked for me.
