Josh Mathews introduces Booker T and he comes to the ring and Josh says if should be safe to say that he is ready for this Sunday. Booker asks the fans if he looks ready and they cheer, then Booker says he didn't ask for a fight because he was enjoying the next part of his career. He says this is all about Cody Rhodes and his ego, and he wants to make a name for himself but Cody won't make his name off of him because he is the five time WCW champ, and the next Intercontinental Champion. Josh asks if he wins will he come back full time, and Booker says they will deal with that when the time comes, but he knows he is going to give Cody the beatdown of a lifetime.
Cody comes out and says that is a nice fictional story, but this Sunday the crowd will go crazy for Booker and he will psyched up, and he might win if this were a movie. He says this isn't a movie because Booker is old and rusty, and reality says he will fall to Cody, but Booker says reality is him coming up there and whoopin' him right now. Cody says Booker interfered in his matches against Daniel Bryan twice, and Teddy Long told him if he gets involved again he will be suspended, so Booker should get out of the ring to see how legitimate he is, sucka.
Cody Rhodes vs Daniel Bryan
Cody ties up with Bryan and shoves him in the corner, then Bryan shoves him back and floats out of a suplex attempt and tries to put Cody in the LeBell Lock. Cody avoids it and slides out to the floor to regroup and yells at the fans to shut up as we go to a commercial. When we return, Bryan has Cody in a side headlock and Cody throws him into the ropes but Bryan dropkicks him in the stomach then tries to put him in a surfboard stretch. Cody fights if off so Bryan stomps on his legs, then tries to suplex him from the apron but Cody counters and throws Bryan into the guardrail, then rolls him in and hits a front release suplex for a two count.
