Booker T comes out and says he wants to thanks the fans for giving him a great year, because they gave him a great ovation at the Royal Rumble. He says he had a great year except for dealing with Michael Cole, and he knows he beat Cody Rhodes no questions asked on Monday, and tells the fans to enjoy themselves. He goes to say his catchphrase but Cody comes out and says the Colts are pathetic and he wants to recap his year by overcoming obstacles. Cody says he brought honor and prestige to the Intercontinental Championship, then took a washed up announcer back to promise, but Booker cuts him off and says he beat him fairly on Monday.
Booker says if Cody had any respect he would congratulate him, and Cody says if he wants it he can have it, and extends his hand as a sign of respect. They shake and Booker leaves then Cody says now it's all over, but Booker asks what he is talking about and Cody tells him this fairy tale is over. Cody calls Booker a joke and tells him to go home, but Booker can't respond because he gets interrupted by his brother. Dustin Rhodes comes out and tells him Booker was the one who inspired him when he was down, and he had the best time of his life. He understands making a name for himself but he shouldn't do it at Booker's expense, and Cody says this whole thing is a joke.
Cody says he can't believe this because he went and restored the Rhodes' name after Dustin through up on it and Booker tells him Dustin is more man than he will ever be. Booker tells him they are even at one match a piece, and he wants to settle it for his title but Cody says they can do it next week. Cody tells him he will beat Booker and send him back into obscurity like Dustin, but Booker says the only thing he will be doing next week is celebrating being a champion and asks if he can dig that. Booker leaves the ring and Cody low blows Dustin and hits the Beautiful Disaster, then runs away as Booker comes to check on his friend.
