TNA Impact Wrestling
Following an intro package highlighting the last few week's of Impact, Bully Ray makes his way to the ring and Todd welcomes us to tonight's episode of Impact Wrestling from Orlando, FL.
Bully Ray says it's obvious that he and Hulk Hogan can't get along, and demands to know what he has to do in order to prove that he's trust worthy. He says he's got a lot of respect for the Hulkster, and "calls him out" on Open Fight Night, but to talk instead of fight. Hogan's music hits, but after several moments Hulk fails to appear. Instead, Brooke Hogan makes her way to the ring. Bully wants to know where the other Hogan is, but Brooke argues with him and says that "he knows". Brooke says she wants them to confront her father together, but Bully walks out on her and leaves the ring. She tries to stop him, but he says "there's nothing to know".
The commentary team talks up Open Fight Night, and Austin Aries makes his way to the ring wearing a new shirt. He thanks the Impact Zone for the kind words as they chant "you suck". Aries says that he would be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion right now, had it not been for Bobby Roode. He says that Aries screwed Roode, and Roode screwed Aries, so now they're even; tonight on Open Fight Night they're going to settle the score like men. However, they're not going to fight right now, because the only time Bobby Roode and Austin Aries wrestle, is in the main event.
Samoa Joe makes his way out and calls out "masked man" from the Aces & Eights. He says he's going to choke him out, remove his mask, and reveal to the world what a cowardly little Moped-riding bitch he really is.
(1) Samoa Joe vs. Masked Man
The Aces & Eights member rushes the ring, but is immediately tackled by the former TV Champion. Following a splash in the corner, Joe hits his signature enziguri. Joe catches him with a running step-up knee strike, and puts his opponent on the top rope. Joe gets shoved to the ground, but catches the Eights member with an Atomic Drop off the top rope. The Samoan Submission Machine locks in the Coquina Clutch in the middle of the ring, and the masked man taps out.
Winner: Samoa Joe
After the match, Samoa Joe tries to remove his victim's mask, but the Aces & Eights make the save. Joe bails from the ring and smiles as DOC begs him to get back in the ring.
Backstage Robbie E tells Rob Terry they need to make a name for themselves on Open Fight Night. Jesse walks buy and Robbie calls him a hamster. They get in an arguement and throw around the words "bro" and "dude" way too many times. Robbie challenges him to a "bro-off", dude. Jesse says it's gonna be a "dude-off"…bro.
