Wrestlezone reported late last week on the final TV ratings for the 1/17 edition of TNA Impact Wrestling, with the show drawing the best score of 2013 so far. It was speculated at that point that the Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan wedding would draw big numbers for Spike TV, who was looking to draw in fans leading up to the Bellator MMA debut immediately after Impact.
We can now confirm that the wedding segment drew the best quarter hour ratings of Impact's two hour live show last Thursday night – a 1.34. Both quarter-hours featuring TNA Knockouts drew the second and third highest results, with Jeff Hardy's tag team match bringing in the worst segment of the night at 1.02.
This is the first time in recent memory that Impact Wrestling remained above a 1.0 TV rating for the entire two hour broadcast.
