Spoiler: Former Knockouts Champion Returns, Top Contender For World Title Crowned At 1/14 IMPACT Tapings

The IMPACT Hard To Kill Fallout tapings featured some major developments.

On January 14, IMPACT Wrestling held its latest set of television tapings (from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia) in the aftermath of the Hard To Kill pay-per-view. A few key spoilers are below.

Tara (also known as Victoria) returned to the company at the tapings. The former five-time Knockouts Champion teamed up with Gisele Shaw and challenged Death Dollz (Jessicka & Taya Valkyrie) for the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Tara previously held the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Brooke Tessmacher during her initial run with the company.

Prior to the tapings, Tara hadn’t wrestled for IMPACT since 2013. She last competed during the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2021. Tara appeared at Hard To Kill, where she was featured in a backstage segment with Mickie James. She also celebrated with James after she beat Jordynne Grace to win the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship.

Plus, a new top contender for the IMPACT World Championship emerged after an elimination match between Rich Swann, Moose, Chris Sabin, Rhino, Eddie Edwards, and Callihan. Swann emerged victorious and earned a title shot in the process. Swann is a former world champion, as he won the title at Bound For Glory 2020. He hasn’t held the gold since Kenny Omega defeated him at IMPACT Rebellion 2021.

WrestleZone has coverage of IMPACT every week as it airs on Thursday.
